NVision President Socorro Harvey recognized several employee accomplishments today by awarding five and ten year employee pins and the first two "NVision Navigator Awards" for outstanding leadership.
Receiving five year pins were Melissa Gartman, Kevin Bupp, and Joel Herr.
Receiving ten-year pins were Craig Harvey, Joel Lawhead, Don Peyton, and Socorro Harvey. The ten-year pins included employment at NVision subsidiary PixSell purchased by NVision in 2005.
Ladies five-year pins are a 24-karat gold broach with a bow and a hanging NVision logo with a single saphire. The men's pins are the same logo and jewel, but in a lapel pin. Ten-year pins have two saphires.
This year NVision introduced its highest commondation: the NVision Navigator Award. Employees who achieve this award meet the following criteria.
NVision chose two recipients for this prestigious award.
Alexander Walker received an award for demonstrating superior leadership and personal dedication in the pursuit and accomplishment of becoming NVision's first Java Certified Programmer (SCJP). This achievement triggered widespread technical certification achievements within the company including two more (SCJP), three Project Managment Professional (PMP) certifications, two Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certifications, and once Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) at NVision.
Aaron Gibson received a Navigator Award for demonstrating
superior leadership and personal dedication by volunteering and accepting
multiple extended remote contract placements in
