technology experts includes in-depth expertise in all facets of information
technology. In addition to building complex geospatial applications NVision
also routinely provides comprehensive IT support for federal, state and local,
and commercial customers.
Under this contract NVision will perform the following services: (1) On-site, remote and email technical support, (2) Systems administrations functions including security procedures and protocols; establish and maintains user accounts, assigns file permissions; installs, upgrades, configures, tests, maintains and supports operating system software; troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software and communications problems; performs automated and manual backup and restore processes, (3) Network administration functions including the maintenance of network functionality and the installation, upgrade, configuration, integration and troubleshooting of network software and network devices; internet and intranet support; administers the firewall; filters, and administers network security. System upgrades include virus protection and spam filtering, (4) Desktop and applications support including installing PC's, laptops, printers, copiers and scanning devices; diagnose and correct desktop application problems, configure laptops and desktops for standard applications, and identify and correct end user hardware problems.
