Senator Trent Lott Congratulates NVision on Recent Accomplishments

Socorro Harvey and Craig Harvey of NVision Solutions, Inc. attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Trent Lott National Center for Excellence in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, at the USM campus in Hattiesburg MS on the 24th of February 2005. During the ceremony Sen. Lott commented on the importance of centers of excellence located at universities and research centers throughout Mississippi. Among others, he specifically mentioned the fast growing remote sensing and geospatial industries within Mississippi and at Stennis Space Center in particular. Senator Lott took a few minutes after the ceremony to congratulate Socorro Harvey on recent awards won by her company: ESRI New Business Partner of the Year, 2004 Innovator of the Year of Louisiana, and 2005 Small Business Innovator of the Year for Mississippi. NVision Solutions, Inc was also certified as an 8(a) contractor by the U.S. Small Business Administration in February of 2005. << Back to News Archive
