NVision Solutions, Inc. Featured in 2011 Edition of NASA Spinoff

February 14, 2012 - Bay Saint Louis, MS
NASA Spinoff 2011 features NVision Solutions, Inc.

NVision Solutions is featured in NASA's 2011 edition of Spinoff: NASA Technologies Benefit Society.  The article, entitled "Information Systems Coordinate Emergency Management" is located in the Public Safety section of the Spinoff and talks about NVision's Real-time Emergency Action Coordination Technology (REACT), NVTouch Multi-Surface Touch Computer, and NVision's volunteer assistance to recovery efforts during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Hancock County, MS.

NVision's REACT is the result of multiple dual-use and SBIR projects with NASA and NASA has adopted it for use in all its facilities nationwide.  REACT was borne out of NVision's recovery efforts with the Hancock County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and FEMA, putting lessons learned during that time to use in developing a technology to help responders make more informed decisions faster.

NVision also developed NVTouch, a tabletop, multi-touch surface computer that NASA uses at its Stennis Space Center EOC and at NASA Headquarters.  Both NASA facilities use NVTouch with REACT and for other operational purposes.  NVTouch is built completely in the US at NVision's headquarters in Bay Saint Louis, MS.
