NVision Is Named 2010 Hancock Chamber Champion


Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Recognizes NVision's Volunteer Efforts

The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce named NVision Solutions, Inc. the 2010 Hancock Chamber Champion at its 2010 Awards Gala in August. The award is given every year for outstanding dedication to the betterment of Hancock County and its residents. The gala was held at the Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis and saluted business, industry, and community leaders.

NVision was recognized by the Chamber for its commitment to Hancock County and its volunteering of time, technology, and expertise for various efforts around the county. Most recently, NVision volunteered mapping and planning support for the Bay Bridgefest and Hancock County Business Expo, and donated time and materials to print large-format maps of festival vendor and event locations.

NVision is a Small, Disadvantaged, Minority, Woman-Owned Business and is involved in the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Mentor-Protégé program with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as its mentor. As part of the Mentor-Protégé program, CSC provides assistance and mentoring to NVision in areas such as infrastructure, training, and professional development. Sandra Brodnax of NGA and Mike Lillard of CSC, NVision's Mentor-Protégé sponsors, flew down from Washington, D.C. to attend the Awards Gala.
